[CATCH UP] June 2016

Hey Guys,

     It's been a long time since I've been on this blog, school got the best of me but I've finished my first year of college and I'm now working from home for a company based in Portland, ME. I'm still on that minimalist journey and I haven't fallen off the band wagon yet and binged on buying makeup and clothes. I've also tried to steer away from sweatshop labor brands like H&M and Forever21. Everything else is working out pretty well. I'll be uploading an empties and de-clutter post but since there are so many products I don't think I will be taking pictures of the products. Next monday, I'm also planning on donating a bunch of books (like eight boxes) to either my local community center or Goodwill. I also recently got contacts which is super cool, they aren't super comfortable but I will eventually get used to it. Back towards the end of my first year, things were a little rough between me and my long distance boyfriend who is in the military however since then everything was smooth and we were able to overcome the struggles together. I really appreciate having him in my life now. Right now, my focus is to downsize so that I only have the things I absolutely love in my life. Try not to buy anymore cosmetics and continue to save money so I can travel. I have two trips planned to go to NYC during the end of the summer and the winter so I want to be able to eat a lot and have a lot of new experiences. More than a blog for others, I want this to be a place for me to reminisce about my past experiences and accomplishments. Although, I understand others will still be able to read these thoughts, and I'm glad to share. This is mostly for me. I'll post up the empties post next! Hope you guys are having a wonderful summer!
