Another month has passed, which means another empties of the month! I have accumulated a lot of things so I'm glad to finally be able to get rid of it. It feels so nice to be able to finish up products and see my progress of downsizing my collection. I've still got a long way to go before I am content with the amount of things I have but I'm working on it. Anywhos... on to the empties!
-Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo Sleek and Shine
-Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo Volumizing mini
Comments:
Both of these products were just meh. It didn't do anything amazing to my hair but it did the job of keeping my hair clean. I don't think I'll be in a hurry to repurchase these but if it's on sale and I need shampoo, maybe?
Bodycare:
-The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Cream Body Scrub
-TONYMOLY Peach hand cream
Comments:
I liked the Peach body scrub but I don't think body scrubs are my thing, I would rather use just my loofah. I wouldn't repurchase but it was nice while it lasted. It kept my skin moisturized and was similar to the apricot scrub that everyone gets and raves about? Next product, I love the way the TONYMOLY peach hand cream smelled, it smelled like real peaches not the artificial peach scent from Bath and Body works. It was fresh. I would recommend it to all dry handed people. It was buttery soft and super moisturizing, and it's available at Urban Outfitters!
Skincare:
-LUSH Mask of Magnaminty face mask
-LUSH Love Lettuce face mask
-Etude House Wonder Porefreshener toner
-Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++
Comments:
Both the LUSH masks are amazing, it is all natural, doesn't break me out and is a great pick me up for when my skin is feeling not as soft or dull. My brother who has acne prone skin and my mom who has more mature skin both love these masks too. So I think they are great products to get for yourself or to use with friends and family. The tub usually lasts me a while too because you don't need to much to cover your face. The Etude House Wonderpore fresher is my holy grail toner, it makes my face feel refreshed before my skincare routine and it has minimized my pores (or at least I think it has, it could be a placebo effect). Anyways, I am already on a new bottle and would repurchase in the future. I want to try some new toners though so after this bottle I might get something else. Biore UV Aqua etc. is also a holy grail, hands down the best face sunscreen I've ever used, it feels lightweight and comfortable on the face, has a nice scent, high SPF, and doesn't mess up my makeup. If you haven't tried it definitely worth giving it a chance.
Makeup:
-Maybelline Baby Lips #15 Cherry Me
-SKINFOOD Tomato Smooth Tint
-Benefit Posiebalm
-Benefit They're Real Mascara
-Softlips cube lip balm in berry
-Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey cologne sample
-Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay cologne sample
Comments:
I love the Cherry Me baby lips and would consider purchasing it again in the future, if I didn't already have so many red tinted balms or lip products in general. The SKINFOOD Tomato tint smelled really good like guava or a tangy peach but it didn't last at all on your lips probably like 30 minutes so I don't think I would repurchase that. Benefit's Posiebalm although it was nice and smooth (felt almost like a cream/butter on the lips) I don't think I would be willing to spend $18 on a balm that was just meh not bad but not amazing. I never liked Benefit's they're real mascara it didn't do anything for my stick straight asian lashes, glad to see it go. I used it up because I didn't want to waste it but onto better mascaras. The Softlips cube balm was horrible, it moisturized great but the taste if you happened to get it in your mouth (which don't we always when we wear lip product) it tasted like aspartame and fake fruit. Ugh, no I would never repurchase but I still have one or two more to go through. e__e I love both the Jo Malone scents. Already have a full sized Nectarine Blossom and Honey ready to go(;
Candles:
-Bath and Body Works Homemade Cookies 3-wick candle
-Bath and Body Works Champagne Toast 3-wick candle
-Bath and Body Works Pineapple Mango 3-wick candle
-Bath and Body Works Heirloom Pear mini candle
-Bath and Body Works Pumpkin Pecan Waffles mini candle
-Bath and Body Works Pumpkin Cupcake mini candle
Comments:
I loved these while they lasted but I don't think I can handle candles for a while especially sweet scents. I still have a cranberry pear bellini and caribbean escape candle that I need to burn but as of the moment they are just being used as decorations on my shelf. Eventually, I'll burn them be done with candles until my next phase. The 3-wick candles were too overwhelming for my small room and since my family doesn't like candles I can't burn them in the living room. I usually had to open a window to diffuse the smell, the mini candles were perfect for lighting in my bedroom. They are also super cute and last just enough so that I'm not sick of the scent. I'd say if you're new to candles go for the mini ones first!
Well, that's all! Thanks for reading (: <3
